Morrow Field House, Nov. 5th, 6:00 PM
Slippery Rock University (SRU) has 17 Division II intercollegiate athletic programs, in 2017, most notably the football team, a team currently 8-2 heading into their last game of the regular season. In fact, the 17 athletic programs have produced professional athletes Matt Adams, of the Atlanta Braves, and Brandon Fusco, of the San Francisco 49ers in Baseball and Football, respectively. But on Sunday, the Morrow Field House, home to the office of Athletic Director Paul Lueken and a few of the 17 athletic program facilities, was the scene to a different kind of sports-related activity.
The Morrow Field House was the location for "International Sports Night", hosted by Internations Club, Sunday night, 6-8P.M., where students were able to participate in a night of fun and games, according to event contact Noora Alie.

There were approximately 30-40 people in attendance during sports night, providing an intimate vibe for those that came to play. In fact, people not in attendance of the event were able to occupy the track and basketball simultaneously while the event transpired.
Vice President of Community Relations Koki Kawaguchi said the event was a part of a build up toward the 43rd Annual International Dinner on Saturday, November 11th, from 7-9PM in the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
According to the President of Internations Club, Partosadat Bahreini, free tickets to the international dinner were given to the winning team of the Soccer tournament, and that on Monday the club was going to have their international fashion show. In addition, Tuesday the club would hold their coffeehouse, and that Wednesday the club would hold their international movie night. And the payoff is the dinner, Bahreini said.

According to the President of Internations Club, Partosadat Bahreini, participants could've played dodgeball and basketball as well, though no one appeared playing within the first 90 minutes of the event.
