Prelow Reunite And Want You To 'Tell Me Your Secret' On Their New Track

Prelow, New York's best kept secret, have linked back up.

Jesse Aicher, the vocalist/guitarist half of Prelow, and Matt Walsh, the producer half, officially reunited Wednesday on their latest track "Tell Me Your Secret." Produced by Walsh, Aicher spends two verses reflecting on a failed fling.

"Tell me your secret / I promise I'll keep it / I know what it's like to be dreaming / I know what it feels like to leave it," Aicher croons on the first verse.

The band teased the song's release on Instagram Tuesday, writing, "New Prelow song on all platforms tonight at midnight." Since their last release I Can't Take Me Anywhere, a joint-album with Skizzy Mars, the duo's released their own separate tracks. Aicher released three tracks - "Last Night, 4 Years Ago," "Surf's Up, I'm Drowning," and "Palisades" - in 2020, while Walsh released "Daisy" earlier this year under the alias We Met Offline.

One of Prelow's first songs, "Mistakes Like This," caught traction on Soundcloud in 2015. The song amassed over 3 million plays on the platform and another 6.8 million on Spotify at the time. The success accelerated the release of their Why Does Everything Happen So Much EP and put them on the road for a 50-city tour as an opening act for Mars. After tour, the duo disappeared to Woodstock, New York to record their full-length debut via Atlantic Records, according to label documents, but it never released.
