Using an information tagged video, for my impending assignment, I'll outline the event "What is Every Body Saying, Thinking, & Feeling November 21st, Tuesday in the leadership Development Center.
Essentially, the event will evaluate human body language, not just how our body language is perceived by others but how it makes us perceive ourselves. For example, when we shake someone's hand we make eye-contact, but subconsciously we also give off signals through our body language that others pick up on instantly. All in all, understanding body language accurately will change the way humans network with each other for the better, pertaining to first impressions and day-to-day communication. In addition, understanding body language accurately will boost self-esteem, according to event contact Erin Strain.
For this event, shooting video is essentially required to capture the participants body language, seeing what they're doing right and wrong. Pertaining to the newsworthiness, body language is something every human encounters almost every day, so this event will have human interest, especially those who want to better their body language and/or communication skills. I'm trying my best to line up an interview with the event contact and will solicit participants at the event for interviews as well. Looking at the assignment description on Wix, I can potentially use Wikipedia to obtain background information on body language among humans. In addition to that, I can search songs on Soundcloud pertaining to body language and communication among humans. To round things out, and to provide comedic relief, I'm thinking about searching social media websites Facebook and Twitter to find body language and face-to-face human interaction anecdotes. For example, a girl talking bad about a guy who approached her wrong, an employer expressing his/her disbelief an interviewee came in with jeans on, etc. Per your deadline, I can have the story to you by November 22nd, Wednesday, 5PM at the latest.
